This test system is easy to assemble, provides accurate test results and its functions are easy to adjust and vary. The hardware is robust. The bowden cable test rig is mounted on wheels and can therefore be easily repositioned. The specimens are mounted in two receiving units (bowden consoles).
The two bowden consoles can be arranged arbitrarily on the receiving plate, while the bowden cable output can be up, down, left or right. Thus, bowden traces can be simulated realistically. The units can be tested either in single cycles or in continuous operation. The tensile force is variably adjustable.
