The xcdt
is perfect for testing rear wing doors with an opening angle of 90° to 260°.
Details
Customers: Ford, Daimler
Devices: rear wing doors
Advantages:
- Symmetrical actuators usable left/right
- Force measurement unit integrated into xcdt test arm
- Actuator adjustable in height and tilt
- Modular design via central station size2
- -40 °C to +85 °C
Inside the vehicle, an electromechanical actuator with a dual-drive motor system is installed for each door.
Thanks to its optimized base, the xcdt can be mounted on either side of the vehicle and its height and tilt can be flexibly adjusted to the specific door.
The doors are unlocked using uact actuators on the inside and outside handles. This process is monitored by sensors.
The xcdt test arm opens the door using a pressure roller and closes it with a pull cable. During the test, the force is measured by force sensors in the test arm.
For each door, an angle sensor unit is mounted on the roof, which measures and monitors the opening angle and speed.
